The Rules below are for the safety of the fish as well as for you.
Please abide these as they are set in place for a reason.

DAY WATER RULES
Crowsheath Fisheries accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to fishing tackle, cars, persons or any other property however caused.
All cars must be parked in the car parks, and not on the grass. All cars are left at owner’s risk.
No rods to be left unattended in the water at any time.
Barbless and micro-barbed hooks only
No beach casting methods.
Carp care kits to be carried and used when appropriate.
No tiger, peanuts or maples.
Unhooking mats must be used.
No fixed bolt rigs
All fish must be returned to the water.
No leadcore or Safezone leaders. Lead free and tubing is OK.
Waste bait is not to be disposed of in the waters.
No reserving of swims at any time unless they are pre paid
All rubbish must be taken with you when you leave the lake. Failure to do so will result in a ban.
Drunkenness, antisocial and threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. Offenders will be asked to leave.
No swimming.
No fires, BBQ’s are allowed but must be raised off the ground.
No dogs allowed.
No driving on the grass
Juniors (under 16s) must be accompanied by an adult.
Anglers must have a valid fishing licence at all times when fishing the lake. Please check for any additional/seasonal rules in reception or by calling us before your visit.
SPECIMEN WATER RULES
- Crowsheath Fisheries accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to fishing tackle, cars, persons or any other property however caused.

- No tiger, peanuts or maples.
- No fixed bolt rigs
- No reserving of swims at any time unless they are pre paid
- Carp care kits to be carried and used when appropriate.
- Landing nets, weigh slings & cradle’s must be used at all times.
- Please keep fish wet at all times. Make sure all mats and slings are wet when handling the fish.
- No standing up or carrying fish back to the water’s edge without using a net or weigh sling, this will result in an instant ban.
- No leadcore or Safezone leaders. Lead free and tubing is OK.
- All fish must be returned to the water.
- Rig checks will be carried out, failure to comply with the rules will result in you being asked to leave.
- Waste bait is not to be disposed of in the waters.
- Please keep within your boundaries set out on the lake maps.
- Bait boats can be used on Specimen Lake (Please adeare to the rules sourounding bait boats)
- All rubbish must be taken with you when you leave the lake. Failure to do so will result in a ban.

- IF AT ANY TIME YOU DO CATCH A CAT FISH FROM THE SPECIMEN LAKE, PLEASE RETAIN IT AND INFROM AN ONSITE BALIFF IMMEDIATELY.
- No wire traces except for fishing for pike.
- No dead or alive baits allowed on the main lake during the closed season for pike.
- The only live or dead baits permitted on the canal and pike (Specimen Lake) are those caught from those lakes.
- No Lure Fishing on Specimen Lake at any time.
- No live or fresh water bait from outside the fishery.
- Long Curved or Straight Forceps MUST be carried at all times.
- Pike Fishing starts on the 1st October to the 14th March.
- Anglers must have a valid fishing licence at all times when fishing the lake.
